Presales Solution Architect – Mendix, AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to identify customer business and technical challenges while exploring opportunities for Mendix, ICX, AI, and enterprise data solutions.

• Collaborate with sales teams to assess opportunities, pinpoint technical risks and decision criteria, and formulate technical strategies.

• Influence technical evaluations through demonstrations, workshops, architectural exercises, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Create solution architectures that utilize Mendix, ICX, AI services, and enterprise systems.

• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and executive briefings.

• Respond to technical inquiries, concerns, and competitive challenges.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor throughout the evaluation, purchasing, implementation, and adoption processes.

• Provide customized business and technical demonstrations.

• Create reusable industry and solution demonstrations.

• Design and develop proof-of-concepts and prototype applications using Mendix.

• Exhibit integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI services.

• Highlight best practices in application governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management.

• Position and demonstrate Intelligence Center X (ICX), including Graph, as part of Siemens' AI and digital transformation strategy.

• Design and showcase AI-driven business applications leveraging Mendix, ICX, Generative AI, and agentic development patterns.

• Create customer-specific demonstrations that include intelligent workflows, copilots, assistants, predictive insights, and automation.

• Educate clients on agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.

• Practical experience with Generative AI technologies, such as LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.

• Experience in integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Experience in presenting technical solutions to business and executive audiences.

• Mendix Developer, Advanced Developer, or Expert certification is advantageous.

• Experience in building Mendix applications in customer-facing or enterprise settings is a plus.

• Experience in developing AI-powered applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, or agentic workflows is a plus.

• Exposure to MEDDPICC or Challenger sales methodologies is a bonus.
