This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Assist with pre-sales and delivery efforts within the Japan market.
• Collaborate with Group-IB clients and internal teams to provide customized cybersecurity solutions.
• Ensure efficient deployment, customization of solutions, and pre-sales support in the Korea market.
• Engage with clients and offer consultation services.
• Manage customer expectations based on the results of delivered services.
• Create comprehensive project and technical documentation.
• Work with customers on solution architecture and implementation strategies.
• Support and oversee pre-sales initiatives, including demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
• Conduct seminars, provide technical training, and facilitate hands-on sessions.
• Aid in the remote and on-site deployment, installation, and configuration of Group-IB solutions.
• Tailor and enhance deployed solutions to fit customer environments.
• Monitor solution performance during POCs, subscriptions, and ongoing engagements.
• Offer technical assistance for threat detection, incident response, and remediation scenarios.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cyber Security roles within the high-tech sector.
• Strong practical expertise in Threat Hunting, Digital Forensics, and Compromise Assessments.
• Knowledge of Incident Response workflows.
• Experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or adversary emulation is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with malware behavior, botnets, and common tactics used by threat actors.
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity solutions across EDR, NDR, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
• Capability to effectively convey technical information to both business and technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructures.
• Knowledge of modern cryptography, security controls, and principles of secure architecture.
• Strong analytical abilities and a commitment to ongoing learning and advancement in the cybersecurity domain.
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, SPAN, and IDS/IPS.
• Comprehensive knowledge of endpoint security technologies such as AV, EPP, and EDR.
• Ability to analyze endpoint logs and network traffic, including PCAPs, to detect threats, investigate security incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and Kill Chain models.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Company-funded professional certifications, including CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and specialized certifications in forensics and penetration testing.
