Presales Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical liaison for presales activities, providing expert advice to both customers and internal teams.

• Collaborate with Account Managers to comprehend client needs and create customized technology solutions.

• Develop and present solution architectures, technical proposals, and delivery estimates that meet customer goals.

• Generate clear, high-quality technical documentation, including solution summaries, implementation strategies, and design diagrams.

• Ensure that all proposed solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and customer specifications.

• Work alongside the Head of Presales to create and sustain standardized solution libraries, templates, and frameworks.

• Partner closely with delivery teams to facilitate a seamless transition from sales to implementation.

• Offer technical enablement and knowledge sharing to sales and account management teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a Presales Architect, Solution Architect, or a similar technical consulting position within an IT MSP or related setting.

• Strong grasp of contemporary IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security, and workplace solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Modern Workplace offerings.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous presales opportunities while ensuring quality and precision.

• Robust documentation and solution design skills.

• Experience in designing and estimating Microsoft Purview-based solutions.

• Background in designing networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, ZTNA, and SASE.

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, AZ-104, AZ-140, or equivalent.

• Fortinet certifications.

• Familiarity with ITIL, project management methodologies, PSA tools, RMM platforms, and standardized solution frameworks.
