This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Build, cultivate, and lead a high-performing sales team operating in the field.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversee sales-force operations.
• Develop strategic and tactical plans prior to launch and carry out the approved strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Market Access, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Medical Science Liaison.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage Precision Account Managers.
• Conduct regular field visits and business reviews.
• Foster relationships with academic medical centers, cancer institutions, physicians, account influencers, and key thought leaders across the US.
• Oversee key-account management and develop account plans.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and expertise across all accounts.
• Manage oral specialty pharmacy fulfillment, organized customers, systems of care, and HUB capabilities.
• Coordinate customer support and patient-journey resources.
• Mentor sales representatives on oncology messaging, territory planning, account calls, and patient engagement.
• Stay informed on clinical developments, disease states, and business trends within oncology.
• Provide market insights to marketing, sales leadership, and internal stakeholders.
• Enhance understanding of comprehensive molecular profiling related to biliary tract cancers.
• Lead team meetings, interview and supervise staff, communicate company policies, offer coaching and feedback, and manage performance and personnel actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 7+ years in Regional/Area Management overseeing an oncology sales team.
• Experience in oncology sales, with a preference for solid oncology.
• Strong comprehension of oncology products, treatment modalities, and the oncology market landscape.
• Broad cross-functional commercial experience is advantageous.
• Capacity to hire, develop, and manage team members effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities for evaluating market dynamics, competitor actions, and oncology trends.
• Understanding of patient claim data.
• Significant knowledge of oncology reimbursement, particularly within oral specialty pharmacy.
• Ability to coach representatives working with a Patient Support Service HUB.
• Proficient in VEEVA systems and Microsoft Office.
• Consistent adherence to compliance guidelines.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in gastrointestinal oncology, hepatobiliary cancers, rare diseases, molecular diagnostics, precision oncology, or biomarker-driven therapy is preferred.
• Product launch experience is preferred.
• Established relationships with key opinion leaders, oncologists, and oncology stakeholders are highly valued.
