This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Perform in-depth customer discovery to identify needs, motivations, dependencies, and challenges.
• Present customized demonstrations, deliver presentations, conduct working sessions, and lead scoping meetings to technically qualify opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer solution architects to design and document solutions with customer approval.
• Advise customers on incorporating BioCatch into their decision-making processes.
• Define and document technical solutions and project plans.
• Work with internal teams to ensure technical and commercial viability.
• Obtain commitments from customer technical staff to fulfill technical closing requirements.
• Establish proofs of concept with success criteria and guide delivery teams towards achieving objectives.
• Provide strategic insights for business case development.
• Lead the response process for RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with customer InfoSec and BioCatch technical teams regarding security questionnaires.
• Offer thought leadership, business expertise, and guidance to both internal and external customers.
• Participate in conferences for speaking engagements, profile enhancement, lead generation, and personal branding.
• Stay informed about fraud and financial crime techniques, industry trends, regulations, and countermeasures.
• Maintain awareness of the market and contribute to competitor intelligence.
• Establish trusted-advisor relationships with clients concerning fraud and financial crime risk solutions.
• Proficient in English.
• Must currently reside in Germany and possess the necessary work permits.
• 5 years of pre-sales consulting experience in fraud, financial crime, or related technology sectors working with top-tier banks, or 5+ years in a senior role in fraud management at a large bank.
• Enthusiasm for innovative technology and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Preferred experience in enterprise architecture and AI solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fraud prevention, AML, and the financial crime landscape.
• General understanding of security frameworks.
• Technical knowledge including Linux, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), CSV, XML, JSON, database technologies and storage, API integrations, HTML, JavaScript, SDKs, and SPA development.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques and the limitations of statistical modeling and Machine Learning algorithms.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills with the capacity to create tailored market-facing presentations.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel 25%-60% of the time across the DACH region.
