Pre-Licensed Therapist / Counselor, LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Provide individual telehealth therapy to clients within the LGBTQ+ community.

• Deliver affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment specifically designed for LGBTQ+ individuals.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.

• Ensure timely and HIPAA-compliant documentation in the Avon EMR system.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT.

• Employ the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to offer support between sessions.

• Engage in regular and mandatory clinical supervision.

• Work towards achieving full independent licensure.

• Maintain a minimum of 10 hours per week of client-facing activities.

• Report directly to the Clinical Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active Maryland license as an LMSW, LGPC, or LGMFT.

• Demonstrated experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients.

• Exhibit cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care.

• Comfortable providing individual therapy in a telehealth environment.

• Proficient in clinical assessment techniques.

• Skilled in maintaining timely and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

• Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week.

• Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday.

• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT.

• Comfortable with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care practices.

• Additional licensure in DC, Virginia, or North Carolina is considered a plus.
