Practice Lead, Medical and Scientific Communications

📋 Description

• Oversee a specialized medical and scientific communications division within the IQVIA Health Communications Group, responsible for client management, revenue generation, growth, service excellence, and team leadership.

• Foster sustainable growth by enhancing client retention, expanding existing accounts organically, and pursuing new business opportunities.

• Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations and engage in strategic discussions with them.

• Create growth strategies for accounts and actively seek opportunities within current client relationships.

• Spearhead new business initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and cross-departmental partners.

• Integrate communication services with data, technology, analytics, and organizational capabilities to deliver unique solutions for clients.

• Develop and implement a cohesive market strategy and client service approach.

• Set up business planning, performance monitoring, and forecasting systems.

• Coordinate staffing, delivery capabilities, and anticipated client needs with operational management.

• Enhance workflow efficiencies across various teams and geographic locations.

• Promote the responsible use of technology-driven tools and data-informed methodologies.

• Lead, nurture, and retain a high-performing team of professionals.

• Effectively communicate priorities and support employees through periods of growth, transformation, and organizational change.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare communications, HCP engagement, medical communications, pharmaceutical marketing, or a similar agency setting.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and expanding a business, portfolio, or client group of similar size.

• Established capability in enhancing existing client relationships and acquiring new business.

• Strong presence at the senior client level and ability to foster trusted, long-lasting relationships.

• Experience in selling integrated solutions that may encompass communications, content, data, technology, analytics, or related services.

• Candidates must reside in the same country as the job location to qualify for this remote role.
