This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the strategy and implementation of Motive's internal communications program.
• Ensure employees are kept informed, aligned, and engaged throughout company updates, organizational shifts, and significant announcements.
• Oversee the planning, narrative crafting, and execution of All Hands and company-wide forums.
• Develop and expand internal video communications, such as executive updates, milestone recaps, and storytelling content.
• Enhance internal communication channels, formats, and frequency.
• Manage Slack, intranet, email, and video platforms to guarantee targeted, timely, and consistent messaging.
• Write and polish communications from the CEO and leadership, including talking points and briefing documents.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Legal, and People teams on both proactive and reactive communication strategies.
• Ensure alignment between internal and external messaging, making sure employees receive key updates before or simultaneously with external audiences.
• Create surveys, pulse checks, and forums to gauge employee sentiment and assess communication effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to executives, People teams, and cross-functional leaders on internal messaging and change communications.
• Mentor and manage internal communications talent and collaborate with agencies or contractors for video and content production.
• Over 10 years of experience in internal, corporate, or executive communications.
• Proven history of leading internal communications in a high-growth environment.
• Proficient in producing All Hands and other executive forums, from narrative development to live or recorded presentations.
• Practical experience in creating video communications and modern, multi-channel employee engagement initiatives.
• Experience in advising and writing for C-suite executives.
• Outstanding storytelling and writing capabilities.
• Familiarity with supporting crisis, issues, or change communications alongside Legal and Corporate Communications teams.
• Strong skills in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Comfort in using AI-driven tools for messaging development and communication analysis.
• Authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies regulated under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
• This role is a senior-level individual contributor position.
