Practice Architect – Capability Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement capability development strategies and enablement initiatives for Professional Services, Customer Success, and strategic delivery partners within the Cortex & Cloud portfolio.

• Create scalable programs to enhance technical proficiency, ensure delivery consistency, prepare consultants, and promote the adoption of COE methodologies.

• Drive organizational readiness for new products, AI capabilities, automation projects, and service offerings.

• Develop capability roadmaps that align with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Conduct hands-on technical enablement sessions, workshops, labs, brown bags, deep dives, office hours, boot camps, mentoring sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.

• Design role-based enablement pathways for partner consultants, architects, and delivery leads.

• Assist in consultant onboarding and ongoing career development.

• Engage in strategic customer interactions, pilot deployments, and the introduction of new services.

• Mentor consultants during customer engagements and identify opportunities for enhancing effectiveness.

• Aid strategic partners through co-delivery engagements and serve as a technical advisor and escalation point during deployments.

• Establish capability benchmarks and readiness criteria across the Cortex & Cloud portfolio.

• Evaluate competencies, identify skill gaps, and create targeted improvement plans.

• Collaborate with leadership on certification strategies, technical growth, and career advancement.

• Assess capability progression through evaluations, certifications, delivery quality, and field performance metrics.

• Create and maintain workshops, labs, demonstrations, recorded learning sessions, best-practice guides, knowledge articles, quick-reference materials, and learning modules.

• Continuously refine capability content based on customer feedback, field insights, emerging technologies, and COE priorities.

• Work collaboratively with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Enablement, and strategic partners.

• Offer technical guidance, mentoring, coaching, and field insights that shape capability development, service evolution, and product enhancements.

• Collaborate with Practice Architects to align enablement with existing standards and capabilities.

• Provide COE feedback regarding partner readiness, common challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in delivering enterprise security solutions within Professional Services.

• In-depth expertise with Cortex technologies (XSIAM, XSOAR, Cortex XDR) and/or Cortex/Prisma Cloud.

• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing technical professionals.

• Experience in designing and delivering technical learning programs, workshops, labs, or capability development initiatives.

• Strong customer-facing consulting experience.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and influencing skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional organizations without direct authority.

• Experience collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and partner organizations.
