This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Transform marketplace data into engaging narratives covering pricing, demand trends, breed rankings, puppy names, and buyer preferences.
• Develop shared data tools featuring real-time information and consistent core survey questions across various markets.
• Manage and execute the group editorial calendar for seven markets, focusing on seasonal news themes.
• Oversee trust and safety transparency reporting, including blocked listings, intercepted scams, protected buyer funds, and illegal import trends.
• Extract regional human-interest stories from breeder reviews, Trustpilot feedback, and support conversations.
• Act as PMG’s press desk and cultivate direct relationships with journalists.
• Prepare and equip country leads and founders as spokespeople with talking points, Q&A documents, data appendices, and interview preparation.
• Design and implement PMG’s inaugural dedicated PR function across eight brands and seven markets.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance data analysis, drafting, localization, and cross-market workflow automation.
• Brief agencies and freelancers while ensuring accountability.
• Minimum of 5 years in PR, communications, or journalism, ideally in-house.
• Proven experience securing coverage in national or major regional media outlets.
• Experience in data journalism is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to create stories from data rather than solely distributing press releases.
• Proficient in utilizing spreadsheets and dashboards for data analysis and verification.
• Regular, hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, localization, and workflow automation.
• Native-level English proficiency, with writing that requires no edits before reaching a journalist.
• Capable of functioning independently while briefing agencies and freelancers and ensuring their accountability.
• Experience in a reputation-sensitive marketplace or category under regulatory or campaign scrutiny is preferred.
• Prior experience conducting consumer surveys using panels or survey tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital PR principles, including earned links, newsjacking, and syndication is preferred.
• A hands-on builder mentality and the ability to work with clarity, transparency, and collaboration.
