Power Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Sales team in the designated region to offer technical insights during business development and proposal initiatives.

• Analyze project specifications and assist estimation and design teams.

• Contribute to responses for RFIs/RFPs and prepare technical documentation.

• Create scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.

• Ensure that designs achieve performance, reliability, and operational objectives.

• Assess and select components based on both technical and commercial factors.

• Suggest design enhancements and alternative solutions.

• Work in conjunction with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.

• Improve solutions based on feedback from customers and stakeholders.

• Represent IEM at industry events and advocate for technical solutions.

• Guide teams and assist in training initiatives to enhance expertise.

• Shape technical and commercial strategies to distinguish IEM solutions.

• Promote technology integration and digital transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's degree or PE license is preferred.

• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment is essential.

• A minimum of 5 years in power system architecture is required.

• Proficiency in UL, IEEE standards, and industry practices is necessary.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities are a must.

• Familiarity with microgrid applications is preferred.

• Experience in power equipment sales or commercial collaboration is advantageous.

• Demonstrated innovation leadership and vendor engagement skills.

• Candidates must be located in the United States.
