Power Platform Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive solution architectures utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and integrated systems.

• Establish technical architecture and solution designs based on both business and technical requirements.

• Develop architecture patterns and best practices for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations.

• Design and manage integrations between the Power Platform and external systems using APIs, custom connectors, Azure services, and various integration technologies.

• Define and uphold security architecture, encompassing roles, permissions, access control, and data security measures.

• Formulate Power Platform environment strategies, addressing environment structure, governance, configuration, and the separation of development, testing, and production environments.

• Define and execute Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies across Power Platform environments.

• Collaborate with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes to ensure reliable application delivery and deployment.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to Power Platform developers.

• Review technical designs, code, configurations, and implementations for compliance with architectural standards.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, scalability issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist developers in overcoming complex technical and integration challenges.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, efficient, and maintainable.

• Partner with business stakeholders, developers, technical leads, and other architects throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Generate and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, diagrams, and design decisions.

• Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, and related technologies, recommending suitable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or a closely related technical field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform.

• Demonstrated expertise in designing comprehensive enterprise solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Dataverse and the architecture of the Power Platform.

• In-depth understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Solid experience in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based architectures.

• Significant experience in designing and implementing system integrations, APIs, and custom connectors.

• Strong understanding of security architecture, identity management, authentication, authorization, and data access.

• Proven experience in defining Power Platform environment strategies and governance frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of ALM, CI/CD, and deployment strategies specific to the Power Platform.

• Experience with Azure DevOps.

• Capacity to provide technical leadership and guidance to developers.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to balance business needs with technical limitations and propose practical solutions.

• PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect certification is preferred.

• Experience with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) is a plus.

• Familiarity with React or modern frontend technologies is advantageous.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales or Dynamics 365 Customer Service is a plus.

• Familiarity with Azure integration services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, or similar is desirable.

• Experience in establishing Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence practices is a bonus.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
