Power Generation Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute conventional electrical design engineering and perform analyses.

• Serve as a technical expert, offering guidance on projects of low to medium complexity.

• Create, validate, and deliver technical outputs effectively.

• Utilize engineering standards, design guidelines, systems, codes, and company protocols in assigned tasks.

• Promote continuous improvement and manage change initiatives.

• Grasp client interests and relay them to project teams.

• Participate in and occasionally lead internal and external meetings with clients, conference calls, and site visits.

• Assist in business development by supplying technical information for sales proposals.

• Provide support to project teams and clients, including handling technical data requests, conducting site visits, clarifying execution details, and reviewing comments.

• Coordinate task details and sequencing with other disciplines, internal personnel, project managers, and clients.

• Gather, integrate, and oversee engineering data.

• Research and suggest suitable equipment and materials.

• Draft contract documents, project documents, studies, and complex engineering calculations.

• Identify and resolve issues within designated areas or projects.

• Contribute to project resource planning and the development of scope-of-work packages.

• Assist with contract administration and project management responsibilities.

• Accurately complete and submit expense reports and timesheets in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in Power Generation is preferred.

• Demonstrated work experience showing continuous growth and knowledge enhancement.

• Proven ability to manage 3–5 complex construction projects concurrently.

• Experience supervising the technical components of projects and providing guidance and mentorship to project resources.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.

• Familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, systems, relevant engineering codes, and company policies and procedures.

• Understanding of and adherence to the company’s quality program.

• Capability to prepare intricate engineering calculations using established methods and principles.

• Proficiency in managing project budgets, schedules, scopes, and quality requirements.
