Power BI, Power Apps Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish requirements for data, reporting, applications, and business processes.

• Create, maintain, and share daily, weekly, and monthly Power BI reports and dashboards for both internal and external partners.

• Design and build Power Apps applications to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and meet business requirements.

• Lead initiatives to improve data, reporting, and application functionalities, focusing on data quality, attributes, workflow automation, and minimizing manual tasks.

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that reveal insights by evaluating KPIs, trends, and overall business performance.

• Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to comprehend data, conduct analyses, resolve business challenges, and communicate findings to management.

• Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and various other enterprise systems.

• Create and sustain Power Apps solutions, including Canvas Apps, forms, workflows, and automation of business processes.

• Oversee Power BI data models, datasets, refresh schedules, security measures, and report performance.

• Assist business and finance stakeholders with ongoing and ad hoc projects and processes.

• Diagnose issues within Power BI reports, Power Apps applications, data sources, and automated workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business and IT program or project management, application development, business intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience in creating solutions with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps.

• Proficient in SQL development, including crafting complex queries and working with relational databases.

• Experienced in developing Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations.

• Familiarity with Power Apps development, including Canvas Apps, forms, controls, connectors, and business process automation.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and/or other Power Platform data sources.

• Background in data-driven management, metrics, analytics, and reporting.

• Strong Excel capabilities, including macros, advanced pivot tables, and graphical representations.

• Basic knowledge of VBA and Python.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with business stakeholders, technical experts, and management.

• A robust work ethic with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the selection process.

• Experience with Power Automate is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with the Financial Services and/or Payment sectors is preferred.

• Prior experience in Finance, Banking, Payments, or FinTech industries.

• Proven experience in building Power Apps applications from initial requirements to deployment.

• Experience integrating Power Apps with SQL Server, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs, or other enterprise data sources.

• Proficiency in Power Automate and complete business process automation.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform administration, governance, security, and deployment.

• Expertise in optimizing Power BI data models, DAX, and report performance.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or other cloud data platforms.

• Ability to convert manual business processes into scalable, automated Power Platform solutions.
