Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate reporting requirements to create BI solutions.

• Design, develop, and sustain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Construct efficient data models and measures utilizing DAX.

• Extract, transform, and integrate data through Power Query/M.

• Connect Power BI to databases, files, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise data sources.

• Enhance reports, datasets, and semantic models for optimal performance and scalability.

• Oversee Power BI Service workspaces, reports, refresh schedules, and security measures.

• Set up Row-Level Security (RLS), gateways, and access permissions.

• Resolve reporting and performance-related challenges.

• Assist in testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement of BI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query/M, and data modeling.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience in integrating and transforming data from diverse sources.

• Familiarity with dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and BI principles.

• Background in dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.

• Knowledge of Power BI security, RLS, gateways, refresh mechanisms, and workspace management.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
