Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance interactive dashboards for financial reporting.

• Evaluate current reporting processes and data sources.

• Create scalable data models and visualizations using Power BI.

• Produce executive-level dashboards for reporting on financial performance.

• Update existing reporting methods.

• Enhance accessibility to business insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in transforming reporting from Excel to Power BI solutions.

• Knowledge of FP&A / Financial Reporting domains.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or SQL.

• Expertise in reporting automation and governance.

• Capability to provide support during US time zone hours.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Power BI development.

• Proficiency in creating dashboards from start to finish.

• Ability to advise on enhancements to data models and reporting architecture.

• Experience with both Power BI Desktop and Service.

• Knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).

• Competence in data modeling, including star schema, relationships, and semantic models.

• Background in financial reporting and analytics, covering P&L, revenue, gross profit, and variance analysis.

• Skills in data integration using Excel, SharePoint, databases, and finance systems.

• Experience in optimizing report performance.

• Proficiency in requirements analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.

• Expertise in data validation and reconciliation.
