This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Execute analytics initiatives at an enterprise scale, from strategy to implementation.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to build consensus and drive organizational success.
• Standardize KPIs and modernize analytics across complex organizations.
• Design and optimize intricate SQL queries and large-scale data models.
• Oversee the complete Power BI development lifecycle, which includes semantic modeling and DAX development.
• Architect scalable and user-friendly enterprise dashboards and reports.
• Design row-level security measures for data access and compliance.
• Manage dataflows, datasets, workspace governance, and capacity management.
• Facilitate governed self-service analytics for business users.
• Design, construct, and implement Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Develop and orchestrate data pipelines, including management of OneLake storage.
• Create Fabric notebooks utilizing Spark-based transformations.
• Manage deployment pipelines across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Implement data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices across BI deliverables.
• Over 10 years of practical experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated success in leading and executing enterprise-scale analytics initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Established ability to build consensus and drive results with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query design, performance optimization, and large-scale data modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, encompassing semantic modeling, DAX, enterprise dashboard architecture, RLS, dataflows/dataset management, and self-service enablement.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse/Data Warehouse design, pipeline development, Fabric notebooks using Spark, deployment pipelines, and workspace governance.
• Strong background in data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of compliance and data sensitivity requirements.
• Experience in driving KPI standardization and analytics modernization across complex organizations.
• Familiarity with Looker and hands-on Looker development; direct experience in Looker-to-Power BI migration is preferred.
• 3-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extensions based on business requirements.
