This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle project leaders to gain insights into business processes and create reporting and analytics for assessing financial performance.
• Design and construct Power BI reports and dashboards tailored for business stakeholders.
• Collect and comprehend business requirements for data visualization and analytical purposes.
• Partner with data teams and analysts to obtain, cleanse, and transform data for reporting needs.
• Develop intricate DAX calculations and measures.
• Ensure data security and adherence to best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Power BI reports.
• Offer training and support to end users of Power BI.
• Stay updated with the latest features and trends in Power BI.
• Prepare regular daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client-specific data, including payer mix, insurance and financial classes, patient access system details, and data timing challenges.
• Assist with daily operations through ad-hoc analyses.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and clients to devise solutions.
• Analyze and resolve problems swiftly and comprehensively.
• Handle, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information strictly according to HIPAA standards.
• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary for performing assigned responsibilities.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or related fields.
• Expertise in Power BI development, including the creation of reports and dashboards.
• 1–3 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics role within the healthcare sector.
• Strong grasp of data modeling and data visualization principles.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction tasks.
• Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for generating calculations.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
• Comprehensive understanding of best practices for efficiently handling large datasets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving and creative abilities, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making based on timely and accurate analyses.
• High integrity and reliability, exhibiting a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Night shift schedule, Monday–Friday, from 9PM to 5AM.
• Power BI certifications are advantageous.
• Support for multifactor authentication and security devices (required smartphone or electronic device).
