This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.
β’ Create and implement enterprise-level Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights and facilitate strategic decision-making.
β’ Design and manage datasets utilizing data modeling, DAX, and performance-oriented metrics.
β’ Enhance SQL queries and views to boost reporting, analytics, and data processing efficiency.
β’ Monitor, diagnose, and consistently enhance production reporting and analytics solutions.
β’ Address issues and ensure reliability, data precision, dataset efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of the BI environment.
β’ Collaborate with IT and leadership from various business units to gather requirements.
β’ Convert business requirements into scalable, data-driven business intelligence solutions.
β’ Assist in ensuring data availability, data mapping, integration of new data sources, governance, and security across reporting and analytics outputs.
β’ Adhere to banking regulations, data governance, and audit standards.
β’ Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
β’ At least 4+ years specifically focused on the Power BI ecosystem within an enterprise context.
β’ Experience in the banking sector is preferred.
β’ Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and intricate star schema data models.
β’ Strong grasp of data warehousing principles and contemporary business intelligence best practices.
β’ Advanced SQL abilities, including the development, optimization, and tuning of complex queries in large-scale relational data environments.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
β’ Proficiency in communication, whether in person, over the phone, or through electronic means.
β’ Capability to frequently use a computer, including typing and maintaining focus on a monitor.
β’ Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for extended durations.
β’ Ability to bend and reach.
