This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with integrated project teams, program managers, and executive stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and convert business needs into Power BI dashboards, reports, and metrics.
• Compile, integrate, clean, transform, and analyze extensive datasets from various systems and platforms.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data models encompassing cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risks, issues, and program health.
• Create and uphold data transformation logic utilizing Power Query, SQL, Excel, or other authorized tools.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot scheduled data refreshes in Power BI Service or other permitted reporting environments.
• Prepare executive and management dashboards, briefing materials, and performance metrics.
• Analyze program and project data to uncover trends, anomalies, recurring issues, and areas needing management attention.
• Enhance data quality by recognizing inconsistencies, gaps, duplicate records, and validation problems.
• Suggest data visualization techniques that enhance transparency, usability, and decision-making support.
• Automate repetitive reports, manual data manipulation, and business processes using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Excel, or other sanctioned tools.
• Test, validate, and document dashboard logic, data sources, business rules, calculations, and refresh processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, data models, access, and data refreshes.
• Maintain reporting products in compliance with data governance, records management, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.
• Must be able to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliations, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications.
• Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience is required.
• High proficiency in using and creating dashboards, workbooks, and databases with Tableau, Qlik, and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience utilizing data to influence business decisions and constructing effective visualizations.
• History of creating dashboards and balanced scorecards that summarize organizational performance.
• Expertise in building and cleansing databases from multiple data sources and merging cost and performance data.
• Experience in developing queries for routine data requests and reports.
• Background in statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with creating formulas within Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Experience with Power Query for dashboard creation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Experience in building, implementing, and supporting complex Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI visualizations.
• Proven ability to grasp technical concepts and structure research that clarifies these concepts.
• Desired: Certification in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Qlik is a plus.
• Desired: Experience with DAX in Power BI.
• Desired: Experience with SQL.
• Desired: Previous experience with CBP is a plus.
• Desired: A current and fully adjudicated CBP Background Investigation is a plus.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• 5-7+ years of experience is preferred.
