Post Merger Operations & Integration Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete post-close integration process for each new acquisition, from closing to stabilization.

• Collaborate with acquisition management teams to devise strategies that enhance revenue growth and profitability.

• Set up integration project boards in Monday.com and facilitate weekly management meetings.

• Lead operations, team/capacity, technology, and finance workstreams.

• Implement and improve the Growth & Integration Playbook by applying lessons learned.

• Integrate dispatching, scheduling, customer data, and service delivery into a standardized operating model.

• Plan technology rollouts, transfer data, and onboard acquired companies onto a unified platform.

• Oversee the migration of accounting systems, banking transitions, AP/AR consolidation, and the standardization of financial reporting in collaboration with the CFO.

• Ensure that acquired entities are integrated into the financial infrastructure within 90 days post-close.

• Manage HR integration, which includes payroll transition, benefits enrollment, alignment of HR policies, and designing organizational structures.

• Generate weekly integration status reports for the CEO and PE sponsor.

• Identify overdue items, escalate obstacles, and facilitate decisions through suitable channels.

• Create pre-close integration readiness materials in partnership with the VP of Strategic Operations and M&A counsel.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in the industry implementing systems and processes.

• Proven track record of managing integration workstreams across operations, finance, HR, and technology.

• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to oversee a 60–90 task integration plan involving 10+ stakeholders.

• Proficient in navigating uncertainty and adjusting the integration playbook while upholding discipline.

• Strong instincts in change management.

• Willing to travel over 70% to acquired company locations during the first 3–6 months post-close.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with PE sponsors and familiarity with PE-level reporting processes.

• Preferred: Knowledge of financial integration, accounting system migrations, AP/AR consolidation, banking transitions, and HR/payroll transitions.

• Preferred: Experience in developing and enhancing M&A integration playbooks.

• Preferred: Background in buy-and-build acquisition strategies with 3+ integrations.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools.
