Portfolio Presales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Provide essential subject matter expertise in the areas of financial crime and compliance.

• Engage with prospective clients to comprehend their technical and functional needs, both current and future-oriented.

• Tailor solutions to meet specific prospect needs and articulate how value and business benefits can be realized.

• Clarify the features and advantages of NiCE Actimize solutions in relation to competing products.

• Conduct product presentations for technical and management teams, showcasing Actimize’s unique offerings.

• Cultivate relationships with both prospects and existing customers.

• Liaise with sales and product management to address customer requirements.

• Lead Proof of Concept initiatives involving clients, sales, and technical presales teams.

• Complete RFIs/RFPs, ascertain client requirements, and ensure proactive communication and customer satisfaction.

• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and various industry events.

• Report directly to the Director of Sales as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a client-facing role providing solutions within the financial services, financial software, or enterprise software sectors.

• Ideally possess experience with financial crime solutions.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to rapidly learn new technologies and effectively communicate their value propositions.

• Proven history of resolving issues and driving business success and revenue growth.

• Consultative and self-assured, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

• Experience in gathering requirements, documenting business needs, and presenting solutions to senior audiences.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations at least 40% of the time.

• Comprehensive knowledge of fraud, financial crimes, and compliance within the industry.

• Experience using or implementing Actimize financial crime products.

• Strong insight into business value and solutions driven by business cases.

• Confidence in AI technologies (NLP, Analytics & Decisioning, Automation, Machine Learning, etc.).

• Good understanding of statistical data modeling concepts.

• Experience in enterprise-wide case management.
