Portfolio Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple facets of third-party asset management platforms

• Provide support for custodian and client service requirements related to asset management operations

• Counsel internal trading teams, external asset managers, and investment platforms to ensure client objectives are fulfilled and accounts are invested appropriately

• Examine accounts for precision, proper documentation, and compliance with asset allocation guidelines

• Set up accounts to apply Mercer Advisors strategies on third-party systems

• Aid client service teams in comprehending external asset managers and their systems

• Collaborate with separate account managers to guarantee timely and suitable implementation of strategies

• Supervise third-party asset management platforms for accurate trading and asset distributions

• Work in partnership with Compliance and Investment Strategy to enforce company standards, educate client service teams, and escalate any discrepancies

• Assist in reallocating investment strategies within client portfolios

• Address issues on third-party systems in conjunction with client service teams

• Innovatively troubleshoot while exercising discretion

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is mandatory

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred, ideally in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional investment management setting is preferred

• Familiarity with Envestnet systems is advantageous

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and troubleshoot effectively

• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access is beneficial

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Professional office environment; work involves both standing and sitting at an assigned workstation, with no heavy lifting exceeding 10 lbs.
