P&O Business Partner

📋 Description

• Act as the primary People & Organization (P&O) partner for a designated group of leaders and associates.

• Implement and execute the People Strategy within the defined scope.

• Mentor and develop leaders on people practices while advocating for associates.

• Facilitate organizational change initiatives through effective planning, execution, and change management.

• Promote the adoption of P&O signature processes, which include performance management, talent development, and cultural initiatives.

• Collaborate with Center of Excellence (COE) teams to advance signature programs and maintain consistent practices.

• Work alongside leadership on business priorities, departmental strategies, objectives, and people initiatives.

• Analyze workforce metrics to uncover trends, produce insights, and recommend data-driven solutions.

• Assist in workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management strategies.

• Identify training needs and aid in development planning with Learning & Development (L&D).

• Promote open communication, inclusion, engagement, and a sense of belonging.

• Provide coaching and daily guidance on performance management, employee development, and P&O best practices.

• Address associate relations issues and collaborate with Associate Relations on complex cases.

• Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and HR regulations.

• Support comprehensive recruitment processes, including planning, hiring governance, offer approvals, onboarding, and interviews.

• Manage HR documentation and employee lifecycle processes.

• Analyze exit survey data and turnover trends to formulate retention strategies.

• Contribute to enterprise-wide P&O initiatives, cross-functional projects, and ongoing improvement efforts.

• Uphold ethics, integrity, compliance, accountability, the Five Principles, and the Associate Concept.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.

• Proficient understanding of various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, talent management, and talent acquisition.

• PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

• A Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Relevant industry experience is advantageous.

• Proficient in using computers, spreadsheets, database management, email, video conferencing, the Internet, calculators, fax and copy machines, phone systems, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
