Plumbing Remedial Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform plumbing tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to SMS Method Statements.

• Conduct water testing, sampling, and tank disinfection in collaboration with Water Treatment Engineers.

• Detect non-compliances and communicate system conditions to Account Managers.

• Utilize Opuz software and a company iPad to generate precise reports.

• Assist in the training of new plumbers and share expertise.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities.

• Execute remedial and reactive plumbing tasks both independently and as part of the Mechanical Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.

• Valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

• Willingness to travel, including occasional trips to London.

• At least 2 years of plumbing experience, preferably within the water hygiene sector.

• Ability to work independently and safely on-site with confidence.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

• Basic IT skills, including the use of iPads and digital reporting tools.

• Capability to clear Disclosure and Barring Service requirements (Enhanced DBS check).

• Experience in commercial or domestic settings, or familiarity with legionella control is a plus.
