Platform Infrastructure Engineer – Client Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, oversee, and provide support for IT systems within a hybrid-cloud framework.

• Engineer, maintain, and secure Windows and macOS devices.

• Plan and implement projects along with related requests that support departmental goals.

• Collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for system design and administration within a weekly sprint cycle.

• Ensure the protection, integrity, and confidentiality of systems and data.

• Assist with compliance initiatives, including collecting evidence for certification audits and adhering to Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across managed environments.

• Conduct problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses.

• Document the design, operations, and procedures related to implemented solutions and technology platforms.

• Create internal training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.

• Act as an escalation point for system and user requests.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements to boost enterprise-wide efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over five years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows environment.

• At least two years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, or a comparable endpoint management platform.

• Proficient with Microsoft Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Proven ability to manage device security, software deployment, and patch management at an enterprise level.

• Experience with scripting and application deployment packaging.

• Familiarity or experience with Windows Autopatch (Windows Update for Business) and public cloud solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to produce concise, logical, and grammatically accurate documentation.

• Keen attention to detail and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.

• Capable of conducting root-cause and post-mortem analyses.

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with macOS and Jamf Pro for enterprise device management, provisioning, and security control implementation.

• Experience working within a hybrid-cloud architecture.

• Ability to plan and independently execute projects in a sprint-based team setting.

• Experience supporting departmental initiatives from design to delivery.

• Experience aiding compliance initiatives, including evidence gathering for certification audits and adherence to corporate information security policies and practices.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully fulfill the primary responsibilities of the role.
