Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in the advancement and enhancement of Stitch Fix’s internal platform-as-a-service.

• Develop and sustain tools that enhance developer workflows, boost deployment reliability, and increase day-to-day productivity.

• Work collaboratively with platform and application engineers to identify pain points and introduce gradual improvements.

• Implement best practices related to Infrastructure-as-Code, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Utilize or embrace AI-assisted development tools and assist in exploring and integrating LLM-powered solutions for internal support and operational processes.

• Suggest ideas and enhancements with the backing and mentorship of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development and infrastructure, with notable contributions.

• Proficiency with AWS or other cloud service providers.

• Familiarity with container orchestration, CI/CD, or production observability.

• Capability to debug systems, comprehend operational mechanics, and enhance reliability over time.

• Skill in dissecting problems and executing solutions with appropriate guidance.

• Strong sense of developer empathy and a commitment to enhancing the developer experience.
