This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Analyze physician referral trends utilizing reporting tools, dashboards, and market intelligence to pinpoint key growth areas.
• Examine the competitive landscape and shifts in local healthcare services.
• Deliver insights to top executives regarding emerging business prospects.
• Assist with new hospital initiatives and partnership possibilities.
• Relay regional healthcare service volume, utilization, market data, and referral patterns to relevant stakeholders.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing volume and enhancing provider perceptions among both internal and external referral sources.
• Inform referring physicians about specialty services available at an academic medical center.
• Cultivate relationships through in-person visits with physicians, schedulers, practice managers, medical staff, and community hospitals.
• Identify and mitigate referral barriers.
• Arrange meetings between internal physicians and external physician groups.
• Collaborate with service line leaders, department heads, site managers, and business strategic development teams.
• Provide physician speakers for continuing education conferences and events.
• Mentor providers on communication and presentation techniques.
• Generate monthly reports on referring physicians, competitive intelligence, events, and call and transfer center volumes.
• Aid in the training and upkeep of the EpicCare Link referring physician web portal.
• Advocate for EpicCare Link as a communication resource for referred patients.
• Act as the primary liaison between referring physicians and TUKHS.
• Maintain the referring physician database.
• Oversee territory expenses, budget, resources, and time management.
• Organize conferences and uphold relationships with association and organization executive directors.
• Foster collaborative relationships with medical staff, internal teams, and management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Nursing, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in healthcare working with healthcare providers or relevant sales and marketing experience, OR 3 or more years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent driving record.
• Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Comfortable adapting to new technologies as they arise.
• Capable of effectively interacting with diverse provider groups.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills with a customer-centric focus.
• Must be adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Disciplined in goal-setting, prospecting, networking, and managing territory and time.
• Skilled in account management, needs assessment, and objection handling.
• Knowledgeable about key industry business drivers and emerging medical trends, with the ability to leverage that knowledge for hospital strategy.
• Ability to demonstrate expertise and adaptability in response to changing market conditions.
