Physician Recruiter – California QME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify and evaluate specialty physicians across various fields, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, and PM&R specialists.

• Ensure comprehensive physician network coverage throughout California.

• Recruit physicians for healthcare, insurance, IME, Workers’ Compensation, and medicolegal purposes.

• Engage in negotiations and presentations with high-level medical specialists.

• Examine data from computer platforms to pinpoint network deficiencies and trends in physician fees.

• Oversee tasks that involve extended periods of sitting and computer usage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in physician recruitment within a healthcare or insurance context, or an equivalent transferable skill set.

• A minimum of 3 years in physician recruitment, particularly in the IME, Workers’ Compensation, or medicolegal sectors.

• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services.

• Proficient understanding of physician networks, recruitment processes, medical specialties, and medical terminology.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, organizational, and time-management capabilities.

• Capacity to meet defined deadlines.

• Proficient computer skills and typing abilities.

• Familiarity with the California DWC, QME/AME process, and Medical-Legal Fee Schedule.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Skills in cold-calling and pitching to potential candidates.

• Ability to engage with high-level medical specialists effectively.

• Competence in utilizing computer platforms and data analysis to assess network gaps and physician fee trends.

• Capability to provide and maintain personal internet services.

• Reliable internet connection for remote work.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
