Physician Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Dane Street’s physician panel.

• Negotiate physician compensation and contract conditions within set parameters.

• Onboard new physicians based on client requirements.

• Ensure timely resolution of open service requests.

• Comprehend client fee schedules and turnaround time expectations.

• Conduct outreach for refunds or recoupments and work alongside Finance and Legal on collections.

• Maintain accurate physician records, including fee updates, W9, remittance alterations, profile instructions, doctor groups, and deactivations/reactivations.

• Research and identify new panel options.

• Gather agreements, CVs, applications, W9s, and NPDB reports.

• Coordinate with the Director of Operations to finalize compensation rates.

• Lead renegotiations of contracts for existing physicians.

• Address complex client requests involving specialized niches or urgent network deficiencies.

• Assist physician reviewers with technical challenges or specific case inquiries.

• Fulfill high-priority OSRs by recruiting suitable specialists and providing daily progress updates.

• Collaborate with operations to align the network with business objectives.

• Support projects and tasks as assigned by leadership.

• Stay informed on industry trends and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in physician recruitment within a healthcare or insurance setting.

• Strong preference for familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations.

• In-depth knowledge of physician recruitment, medical specialties, and related terminology.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Working understanding of federal and state healthcare compliance standards.

• Exceptional time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

• Must provide and maintain a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• An uninterrupted internet connection is essential for this role.

• Occasional lifting, bending, or travel may be necessary based on business needs.
