Physiatrist Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive and impartial medical chart evaluations in line with established clinical standards and evidence-based protocols.

• Review medical records and associated documentation to develop clear, well-founded clinical assessments.

• Generate succinct, precise, and defendable written reports that support review conclusions.

• Conduct evaluations in accordance with MMRO's quality benchmarks and specified turnaround times.

• Employ MMRO review templates, ensuring that all necessary components are thoroughly and accurately addressed.

• Uphold professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality throughout the review process.

• Respond swiftly to inquiries from MMRO clinical and operational personnel.

• Engage in mandatory reviewer orientation and ongoing training sessions.

• Integrate quality feedback from MMRO's Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, and clinical team.

• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives through constructive feedback and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current, unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license to practice medicine in the United States.

• Valid Oklahoma state medical license.

• Board Certification from an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) recognized specialty board.

• At least five (5) years of full-time equivalent clinical experience providing direct patient care.

• Active clinical experience within the last three (3) years.

• Exceptional written communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to consistently meet established review deadlines.

• Previous experience in performing peer reviews, independent medical evaluations, disability assessments, utilization review, or expert medical opinions is preferred.
