Phone Fundraiser – Human Rights, Nonprofit Causes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

• Engage with nonprofit supporters via phone calls.

• Encourage supporters to commit as long-term monthly donors.

• Thoughtfully address questions, concerns, and objections.

• Strive towards specific fundraising objectives.

• Participate in continuous coaching, workshops, and feedback sessions.

• Assist in campaigns focused on human rights, humanitarian aid, equality, reproductive rights, civil liberties, displaced communities, and families.

• Complete an internet speed and voice connection technology assessment during the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Colorado, United States.

• Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week.

• Availability needed Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 11 AM and 9 PM local time.

• Desktop or laptop must run Windows 11 or a newer version.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload.

• A wired headset with a microphone is required.

• A private, quiet workspace is essential.

• Wired Ethernet is strongly preferred.

• Basic technical proficiency and ability to resolve simple issues.

• MacBooks are incompatible with the calling system.

• Must be comfortable discussing critical human rights and social impact matters.

• Must be at ease with making direct fundraising requests.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, persuasion, and listening skills are necessary.

• Resilience is important when faced with rejection.

• Ability to work towards measurable goals and accept coaching and constructive feedback.

• Must maintain focus and accountability while working remotely.

• A voice or video introduction is required as part of the application process.

• Previous fundraising experience is not necessary.
