Pharmacy Technician, Order Entry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and accurately process new and renewed orders

• Assess insurance claims and address rejections

• Appropriately manage order exceptions and clarifications, including refill-too-soon situations and invalid orders

• Effectively communicate with management and colleagues

• Meet or surpass productivity targets in a dynamic work setting

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred

• Must hold a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License

• Familiarity with FrameworkLTC is preferred

• Ability to type an average of 60 words per minute

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Capable of meeting order deadlines

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

• Knowledge of basic pharmacy terminology for interpreting prescriptions

• Competent in performing pharmacy calculations

• Available for occasional overtime

• Must tolerate extended hours of computer screen usage

• Involves repetitive motion deskwork
