Clinical Pharmacist Lead – Pharmacy Stars

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee clinical program strategies aimed at enhancing medication adherence and appropriate medication usage among Medicare members.

• Support the performance of Humana's Stars patient safety measures.

• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills to tackle complex issues.

• Assess various factors to identify the most effective course of action.

• Operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Stars team.

• Facilitate and provide consultation across different teams.

• Oversee project management responsibilities.

• Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

• Active and unrestricted pharmacy license.

• Over 5 years of clinical experience in managed care or a related pharmacy field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-project work environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Proven success in facilitating and consulting across teams as well as managing projects.

• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities; organized and detail-oriented.

• Quick learner with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, handle ambiguity, and make complex decisions.

• Proficient in analyzing complex data, deriving conclusions, and making informed recommendations.

• Previous experience with Medicare Stars is preferred.

• Experience in managed care and/or community pharmacy, or residency/fellowship is preferred.

• Previous involvement in clinical program development and leadership is preferred.

• A Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 2 years of project management or leadership experience is preferred.

• Minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required for remote work.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions is necessary to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
