Pharmacy Technician, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies via phone, chat, email, and written communication.

• Address inquiries related to mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication costs, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication.

• Facilitate interactions across phone, chat, email, and other digital platforms while upholding quality and service standards.

• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims, ensuring accuracy against benefit guidelines and contractual standards.

• Support clinical pharmacists in outreach to patients and providers, scheduling appointments, enrolling in clinical programs, and following up on medication adherence.

• Document interactions and resolutions in internal systems to ensure continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and operational reporting.

• Take ownership of issues from initial contact to final resolution while coordinating with internal teams.

• Utilize AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems to address inquiries and record interactions.

• Promote a cooperative, respectful, and diverse team environment, while undertaking assigned duties and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Active/Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA).

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, or PBM contact center role.

• Proficient understanding of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and analytical.

• Capable of identifying and resolving root causes.

• Empathetic and intellectually curious.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks across concurrent phone, chat, and email queues.

• Capable of supporting multiple lines of business and adapting to shifting priorities.
