Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Assist members, healthcare providers, and pharmacy partners with inquiries related to pharmacy benefits, claims, and prior authorizations.

• Manage both incoming and outgoing calls, delivering clear, professional, and precise information.

• Process and prioritize requests in accordance with established protocols, client needs, and urgency levels.

• Investigate claim statuses, reasons for rejections, medication coverage, benefit details, and the appropriate next steps.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all interactions.

• Provide support for inquiries received via phone, fax, email, web, or other available communication channels.

• Monitor productivity and assist in supporting PBM clinical and technical call center operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in Mississippi.

• Must possess an active and current Mississippi Pharmacy Technician registration with the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy.

• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, hospital, PBM, managed care, health insurance, specialty, or a similar pharmacy setting.

• Experience with pharmacy claims, prior authorizations, prescription benefits, medication terminology, and support for members/providers.

• Strong customer service, communication, computer, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, production-oriented remote environment.
