Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Input prescriptions received via ePost from physicians for processing by other departments.

• Execute a range of moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks.

• Conduct calculations as necessary.

• Achieve or surpass departmental production and quality targets/metrics.

• Understand and apply departmental policies and procedures to complete tasks effectively.

• Operate within established parameters to recognize work expectations and quality criteria.

• Function independently with minimal supervision, exercising discretion as needed.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

• Offer remote pharmacy support for CenterWell Pharmacy, which provides home delivery, over-the-counter fulfillment, specialty, and retail pharmacy services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in either Arizona or Ohio.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail, clinical, or mail-order pharmacy environment is required.

• A strong commitment to enhancing consumer experiences within the organization is essential.

• Preferred: National certification through PTCB CphT or NHA ExCPT.

• Candidates must reside in Arizona or Ohio.

• Must have home internet that meets a minimum requirement of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Must be able to work from a dedicated space free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Availability for an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, typically between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the employee's time zone, is required.

• Overtime may be necessary during late evenings or weekends depending on business demands.
