Pharmacy Tech II – Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Interpret and input moderately complex prescriptions.

• Process prior authorization requests.

• Troubleshoot adjudication issues effectively.

• Verify member information and enter data for pharmacists.

• Educate members on prescription regulations and available medication resources or assistance programs.

• Handle prior authorization requests from physician offices while ensuring compliance with Medicare.

• Notify relevant parties regarding prior authorization decisions.

• Address grievances and appeals issues.

• Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales teams, and members about formulary and prescription benefits.

• Generate reports on rebates, physician utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance members, and other ad hoc reports.

• Maintain documentation of prior authorizations, rebates, and monthly reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current, active, valid unrestricted professional license, if mandated by state law.

• State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification in accordance with applicable state requirements.

• For the CPCC business area, a current Pharmacy Tech license and National Certification are required.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy.

• Bilingual (Spanish) or proficiency in multiple languages is required.

• Must successfully pass a validated language test/assessment.

• Call center experience is preferred.

• PTCB Certification is highly preferred.

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
