This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Respond to phone inquiries from healthcare providers concerning subscriber verification, benefit eligibility, plan limits, prior approvals, and claims.
β’ Verify claims utilizing online adjudication systems.
β’ Propose enhancements to workflows and processes.
β’ Document and relay provider feedback to the relevant Team Manager and/or Manager.
β’ Assist with projects and analyses using Excel, Word, and other software tools.
β’ Record details of calls.
β’ Support additional tasks as necessary.
β’ Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
β’ Experience in medical, dental, or pharmacy fields is advantageous.
β’ Knowledge of dental procedures, health practices, or pharmaceuticals is beneficial.
β’ Prior customer service experience in person or via phone is preferred.
β’ Dedication to a career as a call center representative.
β’ Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Friendly telephone demeanor.
β’ Capability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Research and analytical skills to identify root causes of issues.
