Pharmacy Claims/Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and support sophisticated batch processing applications in Linux and Unix environments.

• Provide technical guidance by mentoring developers, directing solution design, performing code reviews, and assisting throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate application and database issues using SQL Server and/or Oracle.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to enhance system performance and stability.

• Support change management, release planning, production deployments, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Drive modernization efforts through automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps best practices.

• Contribute to the design and support of Medicaid healthcare systems, including claims processing, reference systems, PBM, Drug Rebate, ProdDur, batch processing environments, and other essential healthcare applications.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Application Development, Technical Leadership, and Batch Programming using C, Unix, and Linux.

• Proficient in system integration, automation, XML, and scripting.

• More than 5 years of experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and supporting all phases of the SDLC in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Over 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, which includes database querying, data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

• Experience with change management, release planning, production deployments, and cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.

• Experience supporting Medicaid Pharmacy Healthcare Systems, including Pharmacy Claims/Reference, PBM, batch processing environments, interChange, Drug Rebate, ProdDur, and other regulated healthcare applications.

• Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule to meet business needs and travel as required.

• Video cameras must be used during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
