Pharmacy Care Coordinator – Clinical Pharmacy Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in clinical outreach initiatives by conducting outbound calls and utilizing portal chat to arrange pharmacist appointments that address clinical gaps or medication issues.

• Aid in cost-of-care initiatives by reaching out to providers and members regarding more affordable medication options.

• Handle an assigned caseload that necessitates follow-up with providers, pharmacies, and/or members concerning medication recommendations, concerns, or inquiries.

• Manage assigned cases autonomously, ensuring timely follow-up, clear next steps, and comprehensive documentation.

• Support members in understanding their Devoted Health benefits.

• Engage in sprints, pilots, and special projects.

• Work collaboratively with the larger pharmacy team to achieve common goals and address coverage requirements.

• Assist in training and mentoring new team members.

• Take part in team and pharmacy department activities and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or retail pharmacy.

• Active National PTCB Certification.

• Comfortable with making a significant number of outbound calls to members, providers, and pharmacies.

• Capable of managing daily tasks and responsibilities independently.

• Ability to frequently switch between tasks, projects, and priorities.

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

• Open to learning new software and adapting as tools and workflows change.

• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards taking on new or shifting responsibilities.

• A genuine team player who contributes innovative ideas, collaborates on solutions with colleagues, and supports their teammates.

• Comfortable communicating with physicians, pharmacies, and patients, demonstrating a sincere passion for serving our members.
