This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of processes and tools that eliminate obstacles for engineering teams.
• Leverage AI and automation to address operational challenges.
• Manage Jira and Confluence, which includes configuration, workflows, permissions, and automations.
• Oversee triage and intake to ensure work is directed to engineering in a well-routed and standardized manner.
• Maintain robust roadmaps.
• Conduct weekly delivery reporting for leadership.
• Ensure the quality of engineering metrics data, encompassing team definitions, ownership records, and tool configurations.
• Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and various teams across the organization to pinpoint friction points and transform feedback and operational data into scalable solutions.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, process, or tooling roles.
• Significant experience delivering impactful projects.
• Proficient in Jira administration, including boards, workflows, schemas, permissions, and custom fields.
• Intentional daily application of AI to tackle real-world problems and to innovate.
• Systematic mindset regarding interconnected processes and systems, along with their downstream effects.
• Capability to clarify ambiguous requests from senior stakeholders and the judgment to decline requests when necessary.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to document processes effectively.
• A genuine passion for operations, internal tooling, and enhancing the developer experience.
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with engineering metrics, developer productivity data, or DORA metrics.
• Understanding of the crypto space (preferred but not essential).
• Experience in creating Jira automation rules or Rovo agents (preferred but not essential).
• Knowledge of SQL, TypeScript, and scripting languages (preferred but not essential).
• Experience building Slack workflows or integrations (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with APIs for Slack, Jira, or GitLab (preferred but not essential).
• Exposure to localization, QA, or compliance processes (preferred but not essential).
• Experience working within a remote or distributed team (preferred but not essential).
