Pharmacist – Overnight, 7on/7off

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Work a full-time overnight schedule, initially on a floating overnight basis and later transitioning to a 7on/7off format.

• Execute remote order entry as well as evaluate and verify CPOE orders.

• Ensure the acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses.

• Serve as a staff pharmacist when required.

• Offer consultations to physicians and nursing staff.

• Deliver clinical medication dosing services.

• Review and monitor patient profiles and laboratory values to ensure therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate access to medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures, while adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.

• Apply clinical skills to remotely assist client patients and maintain continuity of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid CA pharmacist license is mandatory, and the candidate must reside in California.

• Active pharmacy license(s) in both the state of residence and the state of original licensure are required.

• 2-4 years of preferred clinical hospital inpatient experience.

• Ability to obtain reciprocity for additional states where practice is required.

• Proficiency with computers to effectively learn and operate various pharmacy information systems.

• Outstanding communication skills to facilitate successful interactions with other healthcare professionals.

• An active CA license and the capability to become licensed in NV and WY are necessary.

• Must be able to reciprocate licensure.
