Pharmacist – Clinical Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, train, maintain, and provide support for clinical systems utilized in medication management and pharmacy automation.

• Ensure the accuracy of medication-related information.

• Assist with the Compass Rose module within the Epic electronic medical record system.

• Design, configure, maintain, and enhance content related to specialty pharmacy patient management, which includes patient enrollments, care plans, clinical assessments, and documentation templates.

• Collaborate with specialty pharmacy, medication access, and operational stakeholders to enhance systems and design workflows.

• Offer user training and address any issues that arise.

• Configure and sustain intricate, multi-step order transmittal workflows.

• Support operations related to medication access and specialty pharmacy.

• Provide expertise in medications and systems for clinical system projects.

• Develop, maintain, and support clinical application systems and medication management automation.

• Prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and foster a positive team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid pharmacist license in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

• At least four years of professional experience in information technology and/or healthcare is required.

• A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) is mandatory.

• Post-graduate residency training is preferred.

• Experience in scholarship and teaching will be considered favorably.

• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

• A drug screening or physical examination may be necessary during the post-offer process.
