This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel territory expansion and meet sales targets through effective account planning and management.
• Establish and nurture trustworthy relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide education to customers regarding Alcon's ocular health pharmaceutical offerings while encouraging product adoption through clinical discussions and engagement.
• Implement territory business strategies aimed at growing, optimizing, and safeguarding essential accounts.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and present educational talks, speaker programs, and customer events.
• Discover growth prospects by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate effectively with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access teams, Marketing, and Regional Sales Leadership.
• Utilize data and insights to formulate account strategies that generate business outcomes and enhance customer interaction.
• Oversee a geographically extensive territory requiring substantial travel and customer engagement.
• Manage workload and scheduling while achieving established targets.
• Cultivate positive professional relationships to fulfill business goals.
• Balance independent work with adapting to new environments in a remote sales setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.).
• Minimum of 2 Years of Proven Experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Valid driver's license required, along with a maintained acceptable driving record.
• 100% travel is mandatory.
• Preference for candidates with experience in new product launches, market development, customer adoption strategies, and territory growth initiatives.
• Preferred healthcare field sales experience in ophthalmology, optometry, ocular health, or eye care pharmaceuticals.
• Experience collaborating with ophthalmologists, optometrists, retina specialists, glaucoma specialists, and other eye care professionals is preferred.
• Preferred experience in promoting therapies for dry eye disease, ocular health treatments, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, and specialty eye care products.
• Experience supporting ophthalmic medical devices, eye care diagnostics, surgical ophthalmology products, retina therapies, glaucoma treatments, or anterior segment products is preferred.
• Capability to drive product adoption through clinical education, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
• Strong grasp of physician-office workflows.
