This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Interact with healthcare providers using in-person, virtual, and digital methods.
• Perform proactive outreach regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance.
• Act as the main point of contact for HCP customers.
• Direct customers to Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, or other colleagues as necessary.
• Organize speaker programs and local provider groups.
• Ensure customer requests are addressed and gather feedback on engagement.
• Collaborate with the ecosystem team to refine targeting and call-point strategies.
• Utilize customer insights to shape local strategy and business objectives.
• Elevate opportunities and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Analyze competitive data, business reports, sales figures, and promotional budgets.
• Educate office personnel on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Employ approved promotional materials and technical references.
• Surmount objections and influence prescribing behaviors during office visits.
• Identify professional groups and network with potential key opinion leaders.
• Cultivate relationships with office and practice staff.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations to assist HCPs in improving patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional colleagues within applicable guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least one qualifying experience path: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience may be considered for employees who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of business-to-business or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement environments.
• Alternatively, 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience, such as Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar roles, with responsibilities in patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused areas.
• Knowledge of CNS is highly valued.
• Capability to communicate complex clinical information effectively.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and convert scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
• Strong commitment to ethical business practices and understanding of regulatory standards.
• Proficient in executing business activities in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Ability to assimilate and articulate complex clinical and product information.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of Cincinnati.
• Travel is required.
• Daily field travel by car is necessary.
