This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +6 more countries.
• Follow up on pending requests from clients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and third-party entities.
• Report claims and assist with processes related to claims.
• Liaise with courts regarding updates and matters pertaining to cases.
• Oversee case progression and facilitate the movement of files through each phase of the case lifecycle.
• Request and acquire medical records and necessary documentation to support cases.
• Conduct client intake procedures and collect essential information and documentation.
• Proactively identify and address bottlenecks in cases.
• Monitor deadlines and outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal personnel regarding subsequent steps and developments in cases.
• Provide regular updates on cases and maintain ongoing communication with clients.
• Keep accurate and organized records within the case management system.
• Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
• Previous experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Intake Specialist, or Legal Assistant is required.
• A solid understanding of personal injury case workflows is essential.
• Experience in managing client communications and handling case documentation.
• Ability to juggle multiple active cases at the same time.
• Familiarity with NEOS by Assembly, RingCentral, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional follow-up and organizational skills are necessary.
• Capability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Eagerness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities as they arise.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach is essential.
• Strong follow-through and ownership of tasks are expected.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Empathetic and client-centered communication style is important.
• Professionalism and adherence to confidentiality standards are required.
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is necessary.
