This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide coverage during short-term, surge, and on-demand scenarios driven by military requirements.

• Offer personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families at military installations.

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, consultations, briefings, presentations, and provide referral resources.

• Collaborate with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure the program aligns with installation needs and stays within scope.

• Assist service members in creating spending plans for extended absences.

• Create and distribute informational financial materials.

• Organize, promote, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes and workshops throughout the military lifecycle.

• Address requests for age-appropriate classes and seminars.

• Utilize virtual counseling and secure electronic communication methods when permitted.

• Manage duty-to-warn situations in accordance with Department of Defense protocols.

• Communicate with leadership and engage in individual and group supervision.

• Share insights and trends affecting assigned installations.

• Participate in in-services, training sessions, quality improvement committees, and other contract-related activities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• An associate degree along with 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

• A high school diploma plus 6 years of experience may also be considered instead of a bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of financial counseling experience is necessary.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred if specified by the contract.

• Must be able to secure a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.

• Must successfully complete the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.

• Must possess one of the following credentials: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
