Clinical Mental Health Counseling Faculty – Clinical Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Recruit clinical sites for CMHC and enhance the clinical network through relationship building and strategic expansion.

• Oversee state and institutional regulations.

• Evaluate clinical sites and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Guarantee compliance with digital and telehealth protocols.

• Manage affiliation agreements effectively.

• Conduct data audits using clinical software.

• Align clinical coordination with program assessments.

• Act as a liaison to site supervisors.

• Provide clinical instruction and deliver didactic coursework.

• Create asynchronous courses.

• Incorporate deliberate skills instruction into the curriculum.

• Lead student gatekeeping processes and offer student support.

• Engage in departmental faculty meetings and contribute to institutional service.

• Collaborate under the guidance of the Program Director to uphold the clinical integrity of the CMHC program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution.

• Ongoing membership in ACA and/or AMHCA.

• Active participation in regional or state-level counseling organizations.

• Licensed in the state of residence or qualified for immediate, independent licensure as an LPC, LMHC, or LCPC.

• Holding a supervisor-level credential (e.g., QS, LPC-S, ACS).

• Licensed in multiple states.

• At least 2 years of post-master’s experience in clinical mental health counseling.

• Previous experience in supervising students or managing field placements.

• Familiarity with preparing a CACREP self-study or clinical handbook.

• Knowledge of CACREP standards relevant to CMHC field placements.

• High proficiency with clinical software platforms such as Tevera, Exxat, or Sonia.
