Personal Banking Associate – Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist customers with their daily advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution related to banking solutions.

• Identify customer requirements and direct them to the appropriate contact for suitable solutions.

• Demonstrate sound judgment in handling confidential issues.

• Provide education to customers regarding mobile, ATM, and online banking services.

• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions.

• Address critical issues and escalate non-standard matters to management.

• Suggest enhancements to work practices, branch operations, and procedures.

• Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.

• Ensure documentation is precise, aligns with business objectives, and adheres to applicable regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.

• Foster team effectiveness and engage in personal performance development.

• Share industry knowledge to achieve shared goals.

• Complete the training program and transition into a suitable position within the designated region.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma and/or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Investment Funds Canada (IFC) certification or equivalent within 90 days of starting date.

• Preference for a Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), branch software, and the internet.

• Familiarity with banking solutions and processes to effectively advise customers.

• Strong administrative, organizational, planning, and time management abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Initiative to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven customer experience skills.

• Willingness to be mobile within the Assigned District, including potential transfers and geographic relocation within the region.

• Geographic mobility is a requirement for this position.
